Hello readers that do not exist .... yet. Perhaps some day this place will become something that like minded people will want to read, but I cannot promise such a thing. Hopefully I will be able to stay within the topics of discussion I originally set out to write about, namely the things I like. However, it is in my nature to spin out of control and write on things I very much dislike. I sometimes get annoyed with certain things and feel the need to berate them in my own words using the anonymity of the internet as a safety tool ... not for me, but them. Who knows what I would do if I were walking down the street and a religious fundamentalist was harassing a passerby with claims of eternal damnation and the like. Unlike more calm, and perhaps more intelligent, people ... I DO have time for morons ... time to inflict due pain upon them, verbally of course. I do not like the idea that there are people who are willing to abuse free speech in order to hurt people, but respond to the same type of scolding in an offended manner. Religious people are notorious for this, and it is they that I am irritated with at the moment.
I came across a 'Creationist' channel today on youtube, and I must say that this man was far less intelligent and informed than most creationists (I know, I couldn't believe it either). His methods of regurgitating 'scientific' information from other non-scientists was appalling. Perhaps I was slightly harsh in my comments to him, but his response was that of a victim. This infuriates me. If you make a mistake, you should hope to be corrected for the sake of expelling the bad information you have. This man, however, is so enveloped in his own ignorance that any attempt to question or refute his opinions is viewed as a personal attack. This was the original correspondence.
SupremeChimp: You have a serious misconception (ignorance?) of science, especially the Theory of Evolution. Maybe you should do some actual research, and no praying doesn't count. Go read a book perhaps, then make videos on your opinions. As it stands, your opinion of actual scientific theory is just as credible as your opinion of what it means to be a woman.
...and his pathetic response that in no way offers a rebuttal to the initial criticism...not to mention the poor punctuation, spelling and grammar.
"I've been accused of that before...unfortunately the accusation is false. Even expert biologists and other scientist's who have taken a procreation stance has had these foolish accusations leveled against them...it is an accusation of desperate men in a last ditch effort to try to discredit their oposition even though the accusation is totally groundless."
I'm assuming that he believes by saying 'the accusation is false' it actually makes it false. Obviously this is not the case. He then refers to a fictitious group ('experts' and 'scientists') that suffer the same 'attacks'. Is he trying to give himself credibility by drawing a contrast between himself and these 'experts'? His projection in final line is especially upsetting, as apparently my 'accusation' does have some validity ... as he proved by not even attempting to refute it, nor actually name a REAL scientist that has been so wrongfully accused of lacking scientific understanding and credentials. I'm fairly certain he's referring to non-scientists such as Kent Hovind and Ken Ham, whom I won't even bother to talk about as their ignorance and flagrant misrepresentation of science speak quite loudly enough.
